Older stone houses, barn conversions and listed properties can need more thought than a standard installation. We investigate the existing wiring, heating system, insulation and available space before recommending work. That helps you avoid paying for equipment that does not suit the building.

If an oil or gas boiler is ageing, unreliable or no longer heating the rooms properly, we can assess the boiler, controls, radiators and pipework together. OFTEC registration covers work on oil-fired systems, while Gas Safe registration is required for work on gas boilers. We can repair the fault, replace the heating system or plan improvements in stages.

Electrical work includes fault finding, consumer unit upgrades, rewiring, landlord EICRs and EV charge points. We test the existing installation before adding new loads, so the charger, heating equipment or other upgrades have the electrical capacity they need. NICEIC and ECA standards support the testing and certification provided for electrical work.

For homes considering solar panels, battery storage or an air source heat pump, we begin with a property survey rather than a standard package. We look at roof space, heat loss, radiators, pipe runs, insulation and the incoming electrical supply. If a heat pump needs larger radiators or pipework changes, those requirements are included in the plan. MCS certification allows us to make a Boiler Upgrade Scheme application on your behalf where eligible, and makes the renewable installation eligible for the Smart Export Guarantee.

You receive a written quotation before work starts, with the proposed equipment and associated work set out clearly. Our engineers carry out the installation, testing and handover, leaving the paperwork you need for a let property, insurance record or future upgrade.
